Delete your data

Last updated: May 18, 2026

In short

Taquillita stores your information only on your phone. If you never used the Cloud Backup, there's nothing to delete from our servers: just uninstall the app or clear its data from Android settings. If you did enable the backup, you can delete it in two taps from inside the app, or ask us via email or WhatsApp.

1. If you never enabled the Cloud Backup

By default, Taquillita does not send data to any server. Everything you generated (tickets, validation records) lives only in your phone's private storage. To delete it:

In either case, no copy remains on your device or with the developer.

2. If you enabled the Cloud Backup — delete from the app

The fastest, most direct way. This removes the copy on the Helsinki server:

  1. Open Taquillita. On the Generate screen, tap the gear (Settings) at the top right; if you set a password, enter it.
  2. Go to Backup and, at the bottom, tap the option to delete your backup from the server.
  3. Confirm. The cloud copy is removed instantly (and with it whatever the web report showed). Tickets on your phone are not touched.

3. If you lost your phone or already uninstalled the app

If you no longer have access to the app but want to make sure your backup is removed from the server, write to us. To identify and delete your specific backup, we need the backup code (UUID) the app showed you when you turned the feature on — something like 3f8c2a91-1d4b-4e67-9a02-7c5b8e4f1d2a.

If you still have that code, send it to either of these contacts requesting deletion:

We'll confirm by the same channel once it's done, usually the same day.

If you don't have the code, write us anyway: although without it we can't guarantee we can locate your specific backup, backups with no activity for 90 days are deleted automatically, so the copy disappears on its own within that window.

4. What gets deleted and what doesn't

For more detail on what is and isn't stored, see the full Privacy Notice.
